My first food memory was when I was seven years old. I remember waking up in the morning to the smell of bacon and hearing the distant loud laughter of my grandfather in the kitchen. His laugh was like sunshine to me, and could brighten up any room.
I ran into the kitchen where he was cooking a southern breakfast of
eggs, bacon, grits and fresh slices of tomatoes from the garden.
I can just taste it now, thinking about it!
To this day, it's still my favorite dish.
It’s those moments, the moments when I am
with my family and we are all gathered in the kitchen
eating a delicious meal, when I enjoy life the most.

This is what made me want to become a chef.
I attended The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles. I have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Management.
I graduated Pastry School, after enduring intense training earning my Master Pastry Grand Diplome from The French Culinary Institute in New York City.
Bringing people happiness through my food is the most gratifying part of my job as a chef.
This blog is about me, and my life of cooking.
Bon Appetite!
